This supplement of Aquatic Insects contains the Proceedings of the International Joint Meeting on Ephemeroptera and Plecoptera, which was held at the State Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart, Germany, 8-14 June 2008. The contributions cover the latest findings in mayfly and stonefly research and include reviews by world renown specialists. The 62 peer-reviewed papers in this volume are grouped under broad topics such as phylogeny, systematics and taxonomy; ecology, life history and reproduction; morphology, ultrastructure and physiology; and biogeography, distribution and faunistics.
