Traumatic legacies in China and Japan: An exchange

His most recent book, The Origins of the Boxer War, has been selected as a finalist at a major national book award in Beijing, and his forthcoming book, The Ideological Context of the US-China Relations (Beijing, Sanlian Press) is to be published at the end of 2005.b
