Abstract
This article deals with the analysis of Cauchy problem for BGK equation with cross section depending on the temperature and density of the gas. It is proven that the solutions of BGK equation exist globally in time, and converge to equilibrium, when time becomes large. The analysis can be regarded as a substantial improvement of previous results related to the equation with constant cross section.
