Abstract

A bivariate random field signal is observed through noisy measurements. Under a change of measure all random variables become independent and an expression for the conditional distribution of the signal, given the observations, is derived. A possible application is when the signal represents the luminosity and number of stars in different frames of an observation of some galaxy
