Abstract
The efficient scores test is fundamental in classical finite-dimensional parametric inference. In the problem noted in the title. the “parameters” are hazard functions, and hence are infinite dimensional. For this problem. paralleling the classical method, we define a score statistic relative to a nonparametric likeli¬hood function in terms of a Gateaux differential, and investigate its performance relative to an extant statistic motivated by a more heuristic approach.
