Abstract
In this paper, we apply the empirical likelihood method to find estimates and confidence intervals for the treatment effect in the two-sample problem. These estimates and confidence intervals make use of auxiliary information about a control group. A simulation study is presented to assess the finite sample performance of the proposed estimates.
