Abstract

In practice it is impossible to read the relationship between special kind of work load and disease from the usual insurance statistics. We attempt to find that kind of correlation in the data of specialized insurance companies in different fields of industry. We have found, that the frequency of diseases in the skeletal system is directly related to typical industries. The insurance statistics have shown that the worker at furnaces, in a quarry and in building industry companies are more handicapped in the skeletal system than people working in electric companies, in offices and similar organizations. The frequency of disease is directly related to lifting and wearing heavy weights.
