Abstract
BASU [2] considers the problem of testung the parameters of several linear relations amongst p variables. Although BASU considers the problems in an econometric setting, it is the familiar problem of testing linear compounds of normal mean vectors, [see e.g., MORRISON [3], p. 121. We may look at BASU's problem in familiar statistical setting and generalize it to the case of vector variates.
