Civil Engineering and Environmental Systems
Professor Paul Jowitt, Editor-in-Chief of Civil Engineering and Environmental Systems has been unanimously voted by the ICE Council as the next President of the ICE.

Professor Jowitt will take up the post officially on 3rd Novmber 2009. He is Professor of Civil Engineering Systems at Heriot-Watt University and is also Executive Director of the Scottish Institute of Sustainable Technology. He has already been working with the ICE for a number of years where he has been Senior Vice President.
