NANOTOXICOLOGY 2007

19 - 21st April 2007, San Servolo, Venice, Italy

The theme this year was "Progress and Future Perspectives"

Nanotoxicology addresses all aspects of occupational, environmental and consumer risks in relation to nanoparticle and nanotube exposure. The research is multi-disciplinary, involving metrologists, (eco)toxicologists, exposure and risk assessors.

The 2nd Nanotoxicology Conference aimed at bringing together scientists from all the relevant disciplines, government regulators and societal stakeholders to present the latest scientific findings and discuss their potential impacts on society. The conference included both keynote speeches by invited eminent scientists as well as submitted oral and poster presentations by researchers.

Objective
The objective was to provide a forum for the presentation of the latest ideas and scientific results from researchers involved in the pharmacokinetics, (eco)-toxicity, exposure assessment, and risk assessment of nanomaterials.
