Instructions for Authors

All submissions should be made online at the Journal of European Public Policy Manuscript Central site. New users should first create an account. Once a user is logged onto the site submissions should be made via the Author Centre.

Authors should prepare and upload two versions of their manuscript. One should be a complete text, while in the second all document information identifying the author should be removed from files to allow them to be sent anonymously to referees. When uploading files authors will then be able to define the non-anonymous version as "File not for review".

Editor: Prof. Jeremy Richardson, Nuffield College, Oxford OX1 1NF, UK; e-mail: jeremy.richardson@nuffield.ox.ac.uk.

Details of procedures for submitting Special Issue proposals

All articles are peer reviewed. They should be in English, typed in double spacing (including all notes and references), and should not exceed 8,000 words in length including notes, references, table, figures and diagrams. (For each page of tables, figures and diagrams, reduce your word limit by 475 words). If your word processor is capable of doing a word count please use it to print this at the end of the text, together with the date of the manuscript.

An abstract of the paper, of no more than 150 words, should be incorporated in the first page of the article together with one to six key words suitable for indexing and on-line search purposes.

The Harvard system of referencing is preferred in this journal; any notes should be placed at the end of the article before the references.

A brief biographical note about each author should be supplied as a separate document.

Further Notes on Style.

Free article access: Corresponding authors will receive free online access to their article through our website (www.informaworld.com) and a complimentary copy of the issue containing their article.
