Submission of Manuscripts

Authors should submit their manuscripts electronically to Tatiana Omeltchenko, Managing Editor, at to3y@virginia.edu. Each paper judged by The Communication Review editors to have potential for publication in the journal will be peer-reviewed. Manuscripts will be accepted with the understanding that their content is unpublished and is not being submitted for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher.

All materials must be typed (12-point font) and double-spaced on 8.5 x 11 inch white paper with 1frac14-inch margins. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. Authors should also supply a shortened version of the title suitable for the running head, not exceeding 35 character spaces. Each article should be summarized in an abstract of no more than 100 to 150 words. Authors must give approximately five keywords that identify the most important subjects covered by the paper. Textual or substantive footnotes will be printed at the end of the paper, before the references. Extensive footnoting, however, should be avoided.
