National Psychology Week, 8-14th November 2009

http://www.psychologyweek.com.au/

Clinical Psychologist
is the journal of the Australian Psychological Society's College of Clinical Psychologists. The journal covers a range of topics of broad general relevance to psychologists working in clinical and health settings, including assessment and treatment of psychopathology as well as commentary on theoretical, social and cultural issues and applied therapies across the lifespan. The aim is to publish high quality peer-reviewed articles within this broad scope.

Clinical Psychologist publishes state of the art reviews, research papers, brief reports, and clinical case studies. Commentaries on matters of consequence to clinical psychologists, including techniques and approaches in psychological practice, professional development issues, and professional and public policy issues are also published. A section for student publications is designed to showcase the work of emerging researchers in the field.

The journal occasionally publishes a special issue, guest edited by specialists, devoted to a single topic.

Readership

Clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and others interested in the study of the application of psychotherapeutic sciences.

Peer Review Integrity

All research articles in this journal, including those in special issues, special sections or supplements, have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two independent referees.
