Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Art Therapy: Inscape is the official journal of the British Association of Art Therapists. This unique peer-reviewed journal, formerly Inscape, is the primary source of literature for the British Association of Art Therapists learned society and for the international body of art therapy professionals. A leading publication, it is dedicated to the growing and diverse field of art therapy in the global context. It presents top articles from art therapists on practice, research, theory and the development of the profession. It welcomes contributions from disciplines that contextualise art therapy and that introduce theories and practices relevant to the profession.

Peer Review Integrity

All research articles in this journal, including those in special issues, special sections or supplements, have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least one independent referees.
