Following the successful London conference in November 2008, a recommendation was made to establish a new Ethics and Social Welfare network. It will be launched at a workshop event in Durham on 15 May on 'Social welfare ethics: Learning professional wisdom, courage and compassion.'

 

Ethics and Social Welfare Network - brings  together people with an interest in teaching, learning and researching about ethics in the social welfare field. The network has jiscmail list (ETHICSNET@jiscmail.ac.uk) set up through the Social Work and Social Policy Subject Centre (SWAP), which people can join and through which we can circulate information and ideas.
