The European Journal of Cognitive Psychology is the official journal of the
European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCOP)
President: Teresa Bajo (Universidad de Granada, Spain)
ESCOP is a large and dynamic society, with over 500 members, across a range of European countries and beyond. Its mission is "the furtherance of scientific enquiry within the field of Cognitive Psychology and related subjects, particularly with respect to collaboration and exchange of information between researchers in different European countries", and it aims to represent the interests of members by providing a venue within which the current research in cognitive psychology and allied disciplines can be encouraged, presented, and discussed.
Among a variety of activities, the Society promotes new research initiatives, supports a European research base through summer schools through which students can learn about state-of-the-art developments, holds conferences for the presentation of research, and maintains the European Journal of Cognitive Psychology as an outlet for research findings.
There are three types of membership within the Society: associated members (postgraduates or postdoctoral researchers who are developing their research career), full members and retired members. Please click here to find out more about membership.
